Money

It was hard to get some peace and quiet anymore, because I was always on the go. I always had a meeting, an appearance, or needed to be at the studio. I hadn’t had much time for myself. I was at home by myself for the first time in a while. I had just got up from a nap that I needed more than I knew. The peace and quietness was short lived when I heard knocking on my door. I got up and looked through the peephole. It was Shan and it looked like she had been crying. I opened the door and she fell into my arms.

“Shan what’s wrong?” I asked cradling her.

“Quest found out about us. He came to my house and tried to put his hands on me.” She cried into my arms.

“What the fuck did you say?” I could feel my blood boiling.

“He found out about us!” Her caramel toned skin started to turn red.

“Listen mommy, I got you. Just chill out and let me handle it.”

“I don’t want you to put yourself in jeopardy and lose everything.”

“Shan, I don’t give a fuck! Ain’t no nigga about to put his hands on you! Look baby, just stay here and I’ll be back.” I kissed her on her soft lips and walked her to my bedroom. Once she was settled, I walked into my closet and pulled out my Desert Eagle. I was still a thug nigga at heart no matter how much fame I had. That shit would never change. I went hard for mine.

“Where are you going?” Shanice asked as she followed me.

“To handle business. I’ll be back before you know it, just chill ma.”

She looked at me with worry, but she didn’t protest. She knew that no matter what she said, shit wouldn’t change. I wanted Quest’s head. I walked outside, jumped into my Infiniti and pulled out my phone to call my boys. I knew that if there was anybody to call it would be them.

“Ayo B where you at?” I asked Bangga when he answered the phone.

“At the house. Wassup nigga?”

“Aye, I’m about to roll through. Tell TJ to meet me over there.”

“Alright fa’sho.” He said before he hung up. I pushed 90 mph on the highway and wasted no time getting to Bangga’s house. When I pulled up he and TJ were on the porch smoking a blunt. I got out of the car and walked up the steps.

“Nigga you straight?” TJ was the first one to ask.

“Let’s go in the house.” I said looking over my shoulders.

“Wassup nigga?” Bangga asked with a vein popping out of his head.

“Shan just came over to the crib talking about ole’ dude Quest tried to put his hands on her. Nigga I’m hot as fuck. I swear to God I’m trippin’. Ain’t no nigga putting his hands on my bitch. Cuz, that nigga is good as dead.” I said getting mad all over again.

“Fa’sho that nigga is dead. Lil’ sis straight?” Bangga asked.

“She good.
